Made-to-measure blinds in Qatar
Explore roller, Roman, Venetian and vertical blinds for homes and workplaces.

Considered around
your space.
Blinds offer a compact approach to light and privacy. Start with how the space is used, then compare the fabric or slat system, operation and mounting position.
What to consider
01
Fabric or slats
Roller and Roman blinds use fabric; Venetian and vertical systems adjust light through movable slats. Each has a different appearance and cleaning routine.
02
Inside or outside the recess
A recess fit looks compact but requires enough depth. Fitting outside the recess can cover a wider opening. Measurements must suit the selected system.
03
Practical operation
Think about reach, furniture and child safety. Discuss suitable cord-safe or motorized options and follow the manufacturer’s safety instructions.
Start with a clear brief.
Share your location, approximate window count and photos. Tell us what you would like to change about the light, privacy or appearance.
Your quotation should confirm materials, dimensions, hardware, fitting scope and the estimated schedule before production.
CHOOSING WITH CONFIDENCE
Compare the way each blind works.
Roller
A fabric panel rolls above the opening. Compare the fabric’s light filtering and check the window handles and mounting clearance.
Roman
Fabric forms folds when raised. Check the size of the fabric stack and its position relative to opening windows.
Venetian and vertical
Adjustable slats give a different approach to light and privacy. Discuss slat material, controls, cleaning and suitability for the room.
A BETTER BRIEF, A BETTER FIT
Choose the operation as carefully as the material.
Start with the way the window opens
Check handles, tilt-and-turn movement, recess depth and any doors beside the opening. A blind must have room for its mechanism and fabric or slats. A neat-looking recess fit is not always practical, and an outside fit should have its coverage agreed rather than guessed.
Compare fabric panels and adjustable slats
Roller and Roman blinds change light by raising or lowering fabric. Venetian and vertical systems add a slat-adjustment option. These are different ways to use a window, not simply different decorative finishes. Compare them against your view, working position and cleaning routine.
Discuss controls and safe access
Controls need to be reachable without stretching across furniture. Discuss appropriate child-safe arrangements and suitable operating systems for the space. Motorization may help with access but requires system-specific planning, power and maintenance considerations; it is not compatible with every blind by default.
Ask for a product-specific finish
Material suitability, cleaning and any moisture or heat performance depend on the selected product. A wood-look finish is not automatically real wood or appropriate for every humid room. Confirm the actual material, dimensions and operating system in the quotation.
| Decision | What to compare | Before approving |
|---|---|---|
| Roller | Fabric rolls above the opening | Compact and simple |
| Roman | Fabric forms raised folds | Soft, tailored appearance |
| Venetian / vertical | Slats adjust the light | Different control of view and screening |
Questions before you choose
A few practical details to discuss before the final specification.
Which blind is best for an office?
That depends on glazing, screen positions, privacy and how the room is used. Roller, Venetian and vertical options solve different problems. Our office page explains the questions to include in a brief.
Can blinds be fitted outside a recess?
Often a system can be planned that way, but mounting conditions and coverage must be checked. Do not reuse recess measurements for an outside fit without confirming the required finished dimensions.
Are all blinds suitable for damp areas?
No. Material and component suitability vary. Explain the room conditions and ask for the selected product’s guidance rather than assuming every slat or fabric can tolerate the same environment.
